Winter Magic Race Day on December 03, 2022 in Baden-Baden - Iffezheim:
Premiere at the 2022 finale: Winter magic race day brings pre-Christmas flair to Iffezheim - Legendary jackpot in the "7Gewinnt!" bet
Baden-Baden/Iffezheim, November 30, 2022 (MH) Premiere at the 2022 finale: The last racing day of the year at the racecourse in Baden-Baden-Iffezheim on Saturday, December 3, promises a touch of Christmas. The "Winter Magic Racing Day", which has never been held in this form before, offers horse racing around a Christmas market - with free admission. And as a special treat, visitors can look forward to an after-race concert with the group SonRise on Saturday.
Seven gallop races will also make the hearts of racing fans beat faster at Ultimo 2022. It is the penultimate grass track racing day of the year in Germany and therefore one of the few remaining starting opportunities on the green turf this season.
Kick-off at 10:50 a.m. & live broadcast to France
The first start will take place at 10:50 am. The course opens at 10 am. Six of the seven competitions will also be broadcast to around 13,000 betting outlets in France, thanks to the cooperation with betting multinational Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU).
Mega jackpot in the "7Gewinnt!" bet
The bettors can look forward to what is probably the biggest payday in local turf so far. The "7Gewinnt!" bet was missed four times. The jackpot has therefore grown to an incredible 255,662.22 euros. Including the expected betting turnover, over 400,000 euros are likely to be won. The only person to correctly predict all seven winners will collect this mega sum alone, otherwise it will be divided among the winners.
Attractive cash prizes
Very attractive race prizes will also be awarded to all active riders at the season finale in Iffezheim. An impressive 12,000 euros are up for grabs in the level II, the Kronimus Winter Trophy, over 2,200 meters. Lydia (M. Abik) and Night Ocean (L. Wolff), who are traveling from Cologne, are the absolute form horses.
10,000 euros are up for grabs in the two-year-old class over 1,800 meters. There are a number of top riders in the field and Serienmond (B. Murzabayev) from Peter Schiergen's stables, who is currently dominating the races for young horses, will be up against many well-bred newcomers.
10,000 euros will also be on offer in the level III class over 1,600 meters. Camiro (B. Murzabayev), who impressed in Munich, could be due for his next win. However, the limits of Moher (M. Pecheur), who is on the verge of a hat-trick, have not yet been seen. Fox Hunter (R. Piechulek) from Carmen Bocskai's stable is the hope of the home training center.
The Ittlingen-bred Lordano (R. Piechulek) seems destined for greater things after his classy debut in the 2,400 meter level III. Iffezheim trainer Fabian Xaver Weißmeier has a mare with strong form at the start with Nada mas (W. Panov). But surprises and high odds are the order of the day, especially at this time of year.
Great additional betting options
Of course, bettors will also get their money's worth alongside the "7Gewinnt!" bet. 10,000 euros each will be paid out in the four-horse bets on the 3rd race (level IV, 1,800 m) and the 6th race (level III, 1,600 m). So there are plenty of reasons to be there live at the big season finale in Iffezheim.
