First time at a racecourse?

Then take part in one of our public guided tours. Every race day we offer free public tours for interested visitors (on 20.10.24 at 12:00 and 12:30). Learn more about the history of the racecourse, the course of a race day and how to get started in betting.

 The meeting point is the Baden Airpark press tip board. If you come via the main entrance, turn right and you will be right in front of it.

Children's program

 

 

For our younger visitors, we offer a free children's program on the days of the Spring Meeting, the Big Week and the Sales & Racing Festival.

At the main entrance, directly adjacent to the beach area, there is a lot to discover. Horst Jochim's play mobile offers a variety of games and rides for all ages.

Bobby car, Kettcar and other vehicles can be tried out on the adjacent course and parents can keep a close eye on their children.

A Baden Galopp Kiddie Ride awaits the very youngest visitors.

In the adjacent beach, you can build sandcastles in good weather or cool off in the mini pools in hot temperatures. Parents and children can take a short breather from their romp on the beach loungers provided by our Kinderland partner BGV.

At the BGV children's face painting, children can be enchanted with artistic face paintings on every race day.

Food and drinks are offered at various stands around the Kinderland and there are not only deckchairs but also other seating options.

Please note that parents must supervise their children at all times and no childcare is provided.

 

 

Good to know!

In order to ensure that everyone can enjoy their stay with us, there are now safety bands for families.

This way, parents and children can enjoy a relaxed day at the racecourse, because nobody gets lost here. Simply collect the safety wristband free of charge from the office and fill it in with your name and cell phone number.

If parents and their children do go their separate ways for a short time, they can always find each other again. You will find the secretary's office in the technical building, which can be found on the right as you enter the main entrance.

Electric horse - Miss Iffi

  • Would you like to experience what it's like to ride a racehorse?
  • Would you like to try out how jockeys train for the races?
  • Would you like to feel how strenuous the finish is?

Then Miss Iffi is the right place for you!

Whether young or old, everyone has fun on our faithful mare! The electric horse is actually used to train young riders, they learn the correct posture, how to stand in the saddle and balance.

The T. von Zastrow Foundation has made Miss Iffi possible for us and we are making her available to the young riders at the Iffezheim training center for training purposes. During the race days, we can give our visitors a look behind the scenes.

Miss Iffi can be found in her new stable right next to the Kinderland on all race days. To get there, you just have to come through the main entrance, walk a few meters straight ahead and you can't miss her.

Special Days

 

Oktoberfest - Race day

On Sunday, October 20, we traditionally invite you to our Oktoberfest race day! Look forward to a free beer (between 12:15 - 1 pm) at the beer stand, atmospheric Bavarian music with a hearty walking act.

There are great prizes to be won in our "Pop the balloon" campaign, and anyone who shows skill can win an Oktoberfest fun bag.

Top prizes also await you in our traditional costume competition! So slip into your lederhosen or dirndl, because we will be awarding prizes for the best "Couple", the best ladies' and men's outfit and a particularly creative children's outfit.

Visitors can also take home a souvenir photo of this special day in our photo box.
