First time at a racecourse?
Then you are welcome to take part in one of our public tours. We offer free tours for interested visitors on every race day.
The tours start when the square opens and 30 minutes afterwards.
(up to a maximum of 5 people per group – please enquire separately for group tours).
Learn more about the history of the racetrack, the schedule of a race day, and get a clear introduction to betting.
The meeting point is the press tip board at Baden Airpark.
If you use the main entrance, please turn right—the meeting point is located right there.

Children's program
For our younger visitors, we offer a free children's program on the days of the Spring Meeting, the Big Week and the Sales & Racing Festival.
At the main entrance, directly adjacent to the beach area, there is a lot to discover. Horst Jochim's play mobile offers a variety of games and rides for all ages.
Bobby car, Kettcar and other vehicles can be tried out on the adjacent course and parents can keep a close eye on their children.
A Baden Galopp Kiddie Ride is available for our youngest visitors. In addition, our mechanical practice horse, Mr. Iffi, invites children to slip into the role of a jockey themselves. The practice horse is set in motion exclusively by muscle power and the rider's own body weight—a playful experience that is both fun and challenging.
In the adjoining beach, you can build sandcastles in fine weather or cool off in the mini-pools in hot weather. Our beach loungers provide parents and children with a short break from romping around.
Children can be enchanted with artistic face painting on every race day.
Food and drinks are offered at various stands around the Kinderland and there are not only deckchairs but also other seating options.
Please note that parents must supervise their children at all times and no childcare is provided.
Good to know!
Electric horse - Miss Iffi
Experience the racehorse up close—on Miss Iffi!
Have you ever experienced what it feels like to ride a racehorse? Would you like to try out how jockeys train for races and feel how challenging the finish is?
Then Miss Iffi is just right for you!
Our trusty electric mare brings joy to young and old alike. She is used to train young riders at the Iffezheim training center, where they learn the correct posture, how to sit in the saddle, and balance. At the same time, our visitors can experience firsthand how jockey training works.
Thanks to the support of the T. von Zastrow Foundation, we are able to provide Miss Iffi for training and give our guests an exciting glimpse behind the scenes on all race days.
Where to find Miss Iffi:
On all race days, she is in her stable right next to the children's area. Just follow the path from the main entrance straight ahead—Miss Iffi is hard to miss!
Miss Iffi is looking forward to your visit!

The hat is an essential part of the classic racetrack look!
